Dave Walens & Brumark Defrauded TNG/Earthling

It's so easy for companies to rip off suppliers. Just don't pay them. Unless the supplier goes to court, paying that burden in advance, there is no way to force ethical compliance.

"Dave Walens hired TNG/Earthling to perform keyword research for their rug and flooring businesses." We spoke with Bob Sakayama, TNG's principal. This company performs high level search engine optimization services, helping businesses rank in Google when people search for their products and services.

"The work we do is relatively expensive, and largely intangible, meaning that knowledge, not products, is where the value is derived in this field. So if we come and do optimization work, there really is nothing we can take back if we are not paid. Because of this we go out of our way to make sure clients are informed well in advance of the costs of each step."

"Brumark and Dave Walens walked away after we completed and submitted a $3,500 research project. It's unbelievable that they can just claim the didn't know the costs - problem is we have email records proving the acknowledgment of all costs in advance."
